The Ventura County Fire Department provides a full range of fire protection services within the unincorporated areas of Ventura County and within the following incorporated cities: Ojai Port Hueneme Moorpark Camarillo Simi Valley Thousand Oaks The range of services includes fire prevention and suppression, medical aid, rescue, hazardous material mitigation, a variety of non-emergent public services and all supporting services. These services reflect the basic mission given the Department by its citizens through a network of state laws and local ordinances and directives.
